Huge props to the World Champion Philadelphia Phillies.

A message from the Articulate One - Emcee Mechanism
."When i first heard it, I didnt know what I was listening to, it was so long ago, but after a few listens., I smiled and thought about the heart and soul that was put into our project at that time. Just hip-hop, beats rhymes and cuts, the basic elements that made it raw, pure, uncut, clean, edgy, and intelligent. The Lost Archives represents just that. Emcee Mechanism and DJ Too Tuff - the two of us have a chemistry I cant fully describe. Simlpy put, it's a love and respect for hip-hop that you don't easily find these days."

Stones Throw CMJ2008 - dope as fuck
Huge Props to Stones Throw family for throwing the feel good event of the year. Yeah, they were playing Fresh Prince Summertime and Cheryl Lynn Got To Be Real, however the real heat was when the Ronettes Be My Baby and Smells Like Teen Spirit came on. Huge Props to Egon and Wolf, Madlib, Edan, Babu, Bobbito and everyone in the building. Check out Peanut Butter Wolf's Liner Notes inside the MP3 and WAV album available on the music page.

A message from DJ Too Tuff

For Immediate Release - origin: Badlandz Philly Pa.
Today marks the beginning of a new era , the release of my Lost
Archives worldwide and i would like to thank every fan who purchased a
Tuff Crew album and every Dj worldwide who continued to play Tuff Crew
and kept my name alive thru the last 25 years in order for the release
of the Lost Archives to come to fruition. From the U.S. to Austrailia,
from Germany to Japan, from Venezuela to Scotland, and everywhere in
between the release of this this Tuff Crew album has given me hope
that hip hop is not dead and will serve as the bridge between the last
Tuff Crew album " Back to Wreck Shop" and the long awaited and now in
production "Tuff Crew ReUnion album".
Special thanks to Dj Z-Trip, Peanut Butter Wolf and Jason Zotos for
believing in me enough to take a chance on this project. Thanks to
Traffic Entertainment for the deal and the global distribution and
extra special thanks to all the artists appearing on the Lost
Archives... OverLord Ice Dog, Emcee Mechanism, Prime Minister Dope, E
Dawg of Project Niggaz(RIP), Shujaa the Pioneer ( Up for Parole in
2017) and Class B better known as Spreewell of Wylekat Entertainment.
Looking forward to my European Tour in 2009 and being released in the
4th quarter of the year means this is a classic on par with hip hop's
greatest releases this year, the Lost Archives will no doubt continue
to stand the test of time as all the previous Tuff Crew music has!!!
Thanks to everyone involved in this project and God Bless you all for
the new year!!
